Light Graphics – Workshop
6.-7.6.2026
Kalamari Klub presents a two-day, hands-on darkroom workshop led by Elvira Akzigitova.
Light Graphics explores cameraless photographic techniques, focusing on the direct manipulation of light, layering, and chemical interventions. The workshop guides participants through the different stages of building-up a unique lightgraphic image.
On the first day, participants will be introduced to the techniques and begin working with the black-and-white process. The following day focuses on RA-4 colour reversal chemistry, building on insights and experiences from the previous session. Elvira will also demonstrate how to make positive images on photo paper. You will be sufficiently familiar with the entire workflow, so that you can continue experimenting on your own.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own light sources to experiment with during the workshop. The workshop language is English.
