Dennis Schulz. Plane 2017

We are currently working on the first issue of our upcoming magazine focusing on contemporary analogue photography. We would like you to share your perspective towards the central topic of the first issue ”belong” by submitting a series or single work. The topic is up for interpretation and by no means limited to one particular genre or method. We are happy to receive a unique, broad, creative variety of work.

Please submit

A maximum set of 10 images (with your name and title in filename).
Optionally, you can add a short artist statement that describes your submitted set or body of work.

Please send an email with preview files to: magazine@kalamariklub.org (max. size of complete email must not exceed 10MB). In case you are chosen, we will ask you to send printable files via WeTransfer, Send Anywhere or Dropbox. All published artists will receive one magazine free of charge and a discount on additional copies.
Submitted work must be analogue (scans from negative, scans from print). Images can be black & white, color, Polaroid, cyanotype, photograms and experimental techniques… as long as there‘s emulsion and grain included. Please state digital alteration that exceeds dust removal and (subtle) adjustment of color/contrast.
All analogue processes, formats, techniques and experience levels are welcomed. Please follow guidelines closely.
